Use of the tools and art

You may use the converter and copy the results for personal and commercial use. Do not use the site to harass others, to break the rules of a service you paste into, or to interfere with how the site works, for example by sending automated bulk requests.

Your pictures and text

You keep all rights to the pictures and text you convert. They are processed in your browser and are not sent to or stored by the site. You are responsible for having the right to use any picture you convert.

Art by others

Where a page shows art made by another person, we credit the artist by signature when it is known. If you are the author and want a piece credited differently or removed, send the page address through the contact form and we will act on it promptly.

No affiliation

Discord, Twitch, Reddit and other names on the site belong to their owners. Art of ASCII is independent and is not sponsored by, endorsed by or connected to any of them. Width suggestions are starting points only and a service may display art differently.

Limits of liability

The site is provided as it is, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted or that results will display the same everywhere. To the extent the law allows, the Art of ASCII Team is not liable for loss arising from use of the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply where the site operator is established, and any dispute is for the courts there, except where mandatory consumer law gives you other rights.
